After packing the bicycles we strolled through Guangzhou before flying to Xi'an. At the airport the plane (or the cargo containers) could not take our bicycles and we had to ship them by cargo plane. We nearly missed our plane arranging this, but thanks to a very co-operative Chinese and the fact that the plane was delayed by half an hour, we did make it. The bicycles were shipped directly to Beijing. We arrived in Xi'an and visited the terra cotta army of Qin, the first emperor. After a three days in Xi'an we flew to Beijing and visited the normal tourist sites as the Wall, Forbidden city, Temple of Heaven (Tiantan Park) In the morning of the 22 September we packed our luggage and went to the airport to try and find our bicycles again. This went surprisingly smoothly and way too early we started the long wait before checking in and returning home. The end of a very special, very unforgettable trip.
